PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Evening Systems Administrator, School of Visual Arts, New York, NY
2003 - 2008
 Maintained and supported 120+ desktop stations, 4 projectors, 17 scanners, 6 laser printers
and 3 Xserves for undergrad graphic design lab (Digital Imaging Center).
 Setup, maintained and supported the Computer Training Center, consisting of 28 Mac
desktops and 28 PC desktops, each using KVM switches for multi-system monitor sharing, 1
projector and sound system, 2 Epson Photo shared printers and 1 netorked HP laser printer.
 Utilized Workgroup Manager to set up 800+ client logins, Server Admin for DHCP setup,
matching static IPs to machine names, and DNS setup, matching machine names to MAC
addresses.
 Used Open Directory and, previously, LDAP to bind machines to the servers, and used
NetBoot and NetInstall to install specifically configured machine images to multiple lab setups.
 Have configured FTP, AFP, SMB, VPN, TCP/IP and routers with port forwarding, have utilized
ARD, Timbuktu and SSH Terminal for remote management in both labs, have automated
tasks using ARD, UNIX scripts, Automator and iCal events, and have maintained and set up
machines using Disk Utility, Carbon Copy Cloner, Applejack, DiskWarrior and Tech Tool Pro.
 I have knowledge of RAID systems and have some backup experience and render farm
usage.
