The Chemical Society, Department of Chemistry, University of Jammu will be organizing a
variety of events to celebrate International Year of Chemistry (IYC) 2011 to
i. popularize the significance of chemistry in the service of humankind
ii. to generate interest in Chemistry among the young people-High School to University

iii. built in appreciation and understanding of Chemistry among the general public.
