identify the major parts of the heart. (Hands On Center)
Quick Lab : Clogged Arteries – To model a clogged artery and describe
what happens when a blood vessel is blocked (Discovery Center)

Systems System, then write the main points related to that article using
the graphic organizer to be given by the teacher. (Reading Center)

Center)
Virtual Lab – What Makes a Healthy Heart? (ICT Center)

and to observe how levels of activity affect the function of a person’s
heart.
Organ System Flash Cards Work in groups of three to develop organ
system flash cards. Make one set of the set of cards that has the name
and a drawing of an organ on one side of the card and its functions on the
reverse side of the card and the answer to the question on the other.
Puzzling Terms Create a word-find puzzle using terms that describe the
functions and parts of the Circulatory and Respiratory systems. Have them
other students solve their puzzles.
