Easy Info is a MIS Reporting system for Citibank credit card operations aims at providing consolidated reporting system at Global/ regional and country level. It enables the users to view the performance of the business at the country level / regional level and the global level. To achieve this, the system will derive operational data sources like Vision Plus, Card Pac etc that are currently used for maintaining operational data across countries. The countries fall in 5 different regions and there are five different databases catering to each region. The operational data will be sourced out in the form of EBCDIC files one for each country's feed. The ETL process is done by the tool DCT and EBCDIC tool together which takes the input files (EBCDIC) form and are converts the same in the ASCII format after transformation of the data and loaded in the data warehouse. As the feeds are from multiple countries the feed are loaded into different databases (5 databases -one for each region) depending upon the country. The operational data from the countries will be round the clock and scheduler software will perform the movement of the feeds and the conversion of the same to ASCII. It uses the store and forward mechanism to process the feed files. The data stored are processed, business logic, analytic functions are applied and the MIS are generated. The MIS are generated dynamically depending on the parameters given by the user. The tool also allows the users to view the MIS in graphical format using the Pop chart.
