Summer Assignment for AP BIOLOGY
ALL WORK is DUE the first Day of the 2015/2016 School Year - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you have questions,
please email me at sbaksh2@schools.nyc.gov
All work is to be done by individual students. There is no “group-work.” I know that it may be tempting to divide
the work, and email the answers to each other, but it will not be worth the consequences. Every student caught
receives zeros.
Choose one of the following books to read and share your knowledge in a written report. This report will be
worth 50 pts and you must be prepared to present a 5 minute oral report to the class. Your report must contain
the following:
 A summary of the book that displays evidence that you have read the entire book. (15 points)
 Minimum of 5 scientific concepts defined in the summary. (5 points)
 Reflections about the book (5 points)
 Excellent writing used to express ideas. (5 points)
 Oral presentation (20 points)
