Updated on 08 Mar 2012 JOB DESCRIPTION Position HR Director Department Report to Human Resources Managing Director Overall Responsibility Develop Company strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to Company strategic thinking and direction, establishing human resources objectives in line with ITL’s objectives. Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations. Establish and develop HR policies, building up the company culture and interlink with HR team of other ITL J.Vs in developing group. Main Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Training & Development - Build & implement succession plan and job rotation for employees of ITL Corp, its Business Unit and branches based on standard of competences, business development scale, manpower resource strategy. - Talent development of ITL Group. - Lead training team in planning to enhance staff performance within approved budget. - Advise training solutions for training team and staffs. - Develop internal trainer team and in-house training programs. Staff engagement - Work with Marketing team, Admin team, Training team to bring warm up spirit to staff and company activities and delivery the BOM’s messages to each events. - Building company culture/ internal brand for staff of whole ITL Group. - Build the engine to understand staff’s insight and tools to satisfy staffs and maximize their performance. - Create a good work environment to encourage employee engagement. Internal communication - Develop and implement internal communications strategy that meets ITL’s objectives and aligns with strategic direction of BOM. - Work with Marketing team and ICT team to managing internal communications channels including intranet, email, lunchtime talks, spark, social websites under ITL account … - Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the ITL’s strategic vision, mission and values. Updated on 08 Mar 2012 - Play a key role in organizing the annual staff conference, and manage internal communications among ITL’s branches and Business Units. - Ensure messages from senior management and the Board are properly reflected in communications to all employees. - Be the first point of contact for internal communication enquiries and requests for advice. - Build the inter connection with HR team of other J.Vs of ITL including ITL Keppel, Ceva Vietnam Logistics, … to develop HR resource for whole group and network in talent development, HR policies and training … The Board of Management’s HR consultant - Advise the BOM on sensitive and complex internal communications challenges, including crisis communications issues. - Supports the BOM by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications. - Risk management of labor relationship issues and deal with government Offices related to Labor issues. OTHERS Overview HR team performance and improvement. Support HR team to enrich the procedures, policies related to HR functions. Advise HR solutions to HR team and Head of Departments. Recruit vacancies of senior management for ITL Group. REPORT Prepare HR performance reports and researching human resources issues or results. Reporting the time recording reports Working Relationships Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values. Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments Inside the company Outside the company 1.With supervisor/manager : The BOM, Managing Director. Government Offices, Suppliers 2. With staff : HR Manager, HR Supervisors, HR staffs. HR community. 3.With relevant/cooperate departments: Managers and staffs of all departments in ITL Corp Job Specifications Education & Profession Language Computer Skills Job Required Skills University Degree, MBA is preferable. English: Excellent in reading / listening/ writing/speaking MS. Word, MS. Excel, MS. Power Point, Email, Internet.
