Design of organization structure. Organization Equilibrium, Situation factors, Project
parameters, contingency approach, Importance organizational hierarchy, Centralization and decentralization, Span of control.
Linear Programming in Management. Objective function, constraint set. Maximizing
or minimizing linear function.
Logic Control in Management. Logical, continuous (analog) and discrete binding behavior in the organization, Synthesis of combinatorial functions, Minimization of logic
function.
Approaches to Organization and Management. Management theory, Scientific management, Decision making approach. Managerial functions, roles and styles.
