Objective:
The student will examine a career in which biology is a required part of the educational
requirements.
The student will research the career and write a report of their findings.
Assignment:
1. Each student will choose a biology career from the following list below and sign up
on the list on the teacher’s desk.
2. The student will research the career they have chosen. They may use reliable
internet sources and print resources available in classroom textbooks. They will
prepare a 3 page report (with cover page and additional bibliography page citing all
sources) including the following information:
* Students will have the opportunity to work on computers 2 class periods prior to due
date. Other work should be done outside of class. A flash or zip drive would be helpful
for storing information from school to home and vice versa.
** Plagiarism will result in a zero for the project.

 Presenting information to the class (without reading from report) will add an
additional 10 points to your grade.
