I would reiterate a need for the division to assist commission chairs learn how to manage, sustain and build our commissions, and I would like to see redoubled efforts to build communication and collaboration across the division. The division restructuring efforts have not increased communication or fostered a sense of belonging in this organization; if anything I feel like they have had the opposite effect. Section 4: Describe how you have incorporated diversity and inclusiveness of membership into the planning of your unit’s goals and activities. What criteria were used to accomplish this (such as institutional type, ethnicity, new professionals, experienced professionals, role—faculty, administrator, advisor; region, etc.)?
