Maxtor 80Gb Disk drive
Software Summary:
None of the Systems are preloaded with an operating system
No operating system CD/DVDs are present
Material and Misc Summary:
2 x Front Bezels for Power Edge 2850 (note there are 4 x 2850’s so 2 x do not have
front bezels)
2 x rail kits for Power Edge 2850 ( again 2 x 2850s will not have rail kits)
1 x rail kit for Power Edge 2950
NOTE: all systems are ready for rack mounting but are mostly missing the mounting
hardware (apart from that just listed above)
Diagnostic Summary:

Please document diagnostic steps
taken as well as diagnostic tools
used to access asset:
Once screen and keyboard (neither are part of auction) were connected to asset I
added power and turned on to see if any O/S was installed and was accessible.
No O/S installed on any system
I took camera shots of the BIOS for each server unit to confirm the processor,
memory and I/O cards the system registered
3M99J71: 4 of the 5 disks are reporting as failed on the load up screen
4NVZH91: Will not turn on
Is missing the hardware/cables to mount disks drive
Is missing the hardware/cables to mount the CD rom
NOTE: no system is preinstalled with an operating system
The DELL tape library I allowed to complete its POST. It completed without any
issues other then Drive 1 requiring a clean.
HP SYSTEMS
Using Smart Start software I booted one of the 393622-405s and took pictures of
the system configuration screen, disks screen and ran a diagnostics test. All
systems passed.
One 393622 would not boot past the memory init/processor list page.
The 389695-405s I took pictures of the BIOS screen.
NOTE: no system is preinstalled with an operating system

The crate the items are packed in is undamaged

The units inside are stacked with foam in between them
Each unit appears to be undamaged
1 x 393622 is missing a DVD Rom
1 x 389695 has a lose hard drive that is not installed correctly
DELL system 4NVZH91 is missing the hardware/cables to mount the disk drive and
CD ROM
