Welcome to Term 2 at Infinite Dance Studios. We hope that you all
enjoyed your Easter break and are ready to get back into dancing for a
HUGE 10 week Term.

Fee’s, Payments & Admin Times
Term 2 invoices were sent electronically via email during the Term 1
holidays.
PLEASE ensure that if you are paying electronically, you quote your
invoice reference when paying and please adhere to the payment
terms and date on your invoice to avoid late penalty charges.
Don’t forget to sign in with Christie at the desk each week before class
even if you have made a Term payment.
REMEMBER: Grooming, Attendance &
Punctuality…
This should go without saying now so please adhere to the uniform,
attendance and punctuality rules!
For reference, please log onto our website and re-read our Terms and
Conditions that address these topics. Inconsistent attendance may lead
to losing your position within your class.
Fundraising
Huge thanks to all of those that participated in the Chocolate
Fundraiser in Term 1. Money from fundraising has already gone
towards purchasing 2 new items of equipment for our acrobatics
classes and a new set of Ballet Barres to be installed!!
Infinite Tracksuit Orders
Your tracksuit orders were processed and sent to production on
Monday 31st of March. You can expect to receive your ordered
uniforms close to Week 2 of this Term.
Performances and Competitions
Term 2 is going to see many talented Infinite students compete and
perform at various events.
Best of luck to all of the competitors that will be representing Infinite
Dance Studios at both Dancefest in Maribynong and The Northern
Festival of Dance and Australian Dance Challenge in Melbourne in
June, no doubt you will do us all extremely proud!
Huge congratulations to Junior A Elite Jazz Troupe who represented
Geelong and the Surf coast at the Dance Cancer Initiative Gala held in
Melbourne on the 22nd March.
All performance opportunities and dates are listed on our website and
Facebook page, so please feel free to come along and support our
dancers throughout these events.

Believe it or not, preparations for our end of year production IDANCE
14 are already well underway and…We need your help!
Calling all Sewers, Carpentry skills, Sewers, Painters, Sewers and
basic sewers!!! Please let me know if you can HELP in any way!

As you can imagine, organising the logistics of IDANCE 2014 with 270
students is going to be a tricky one. The cast list is subject to change,
but as it stands, I have tried to create a show that caters for everyone
(siblings especially) but obviously not everybody can be pleased.
Please contact me ASAP if there is a large problem with any of these
decisions. Thank you.
IDANCE 14 Rehearsal Schedule
Please note: Students WILL NOT be required for the entire time. A
detailed Rehearsal Schedule will be released in Term 3 with time
guidelines.
Saturday November 15th:
Jazz & Tap for Tinies, Primary Ballet, Pre Primary Ballet classes as
normal
9.45-10.45am: Infants Theatrical (moved forward 1 hour)
11.00-12.45pm: Matinee BALLET Cast Rehearsal including Primary
Ballet
1.00pm onwards: Matinee Cast Rehearsal ONLY
Saturday November 22nd:
Jazz & Tap for Tinies, Primary Ballet, Pre Primary Ballet classes as
normal
9.45-10.45am: Infants Theatrical (moved forward 1 hour)
11.00-12.45pm: Evening BALLET Cast Rehearsal
1.00pm onwards: Evening Cast Rehearsal ONLY
Saturday November 30th:
ALL CLASSES AS NORMAL – NO ACROBATICS
Monday 1st December: Full Dress & Tech rehearsal at GPAC.
Please note: Tinies & Pre Primary Ballet are NOT included in this
rehearsal!
Saturday December 6th – IDANCE 2014!!!
Sub Junior D Theatrical & Sub Junior B Theatrical will have a Friday
afternoon session to make up for missed classes. TBC
Family Fun & Disco Night
Back by popular demand; our Family Fun & Disco night will go ahead
again this year. Please lock in the date; Saturday 25th October. Details
will follow. We look forward to sharing another wonderful night with you!
Please note: Classes are running as normal on both Anzac Day
and Queens Birthday long weekend.
