AN ACT TO REVISE THE FINANCIAL PROCEDURES ACT
Short Title: FPA Revisions Act

Whereas, The FPA is in need of updates due to the recent SAFC meeting;
Therefore, be it resolved by the Student Senate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte:
SECTION I:
The FPA is to read:

SECTION I: ARTICLE I. POLICIES & PROCEDURES
SECTION 4: Budgeting and Procedures
§8-1.11. Budgeting Percentages
(d) No one student organization shall be permitted to spend more than seven percent of the
overall budget allocated by SAFC per fiscal year.
SECTION II: ARTICLE V. TRAVEL GRANTS
SECTION 2: Process
§8-5.3. Application
(a) A maximum of $1,000 can be allotted per single organization each semester in the following
increments: a maximum of $500 per student, $750 for two students, and three or more students
to be eligible for up to$1000.

SECTION III: These changes shall join the previously passed Financial Procedure Act revisions made
earlier in 2014, and shall take effect on June 1st, 2014.
