Use Version 10
Confirm requirements type LSF
Create Planned Independent Requirements of 100 units for 3 months
Note: Make sure that 1st of the first month is at least 15 days in the future
Save, demonstrate refresh
Run MRP
Demonstrate:
GR/AV Date
Display Production Order
Show Order Finish and Order Start: Difference? Go to MRP 2 via double-click
on Material Number
Change Lot Sizing: FX (50)
Run MRP—two orders!?
How to get 1 order in multiples of 50? EX with rounding value of 50. Demo.
Change 1st planned independent requirement to 120. Run MRP. Get 1st order for
150 units.
Change Independent Requirement back to 100 and add demand for 100 units in earlier
period
Run MRP. Notice Red Traffic Light. Notice Exception Message.
