Each Intelligence Researcher must have a demonstrated knowledge of terrorism (mandatory) and weapons of mass
destruction or drug trafficking or human smuggling and experience with or in: a) Terrorist organizations, history,
operations, and tactics to include an understanding of how the various terrorist organizations operate. b) Crossborder illicit movement of people, cargo, vehicles, etc., to include identifying suspect trends and patterns. c)
Nationally or internationally established gangs, d) Handling and safeguarding of classified material, requesting
downgrades, etc. e) International criminal organizations (or international smuggling) and how the organizations
operate and their areas of operation.
Must have experience with intelligence gathering, analysis, fusion, and product generation experience. Must be
skilled in the use of supporting intelligence or law enforcement databases and applications. Must possess knowledge
of the Law Enforcement and National Intelligence Community agencies and their respective responsibilities and
intelligence products.
Additionally, each candidate must possess/demonstrate: strong organizational and analytical skills, personal
initiative, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communications skills, self-initiated activity, and the
