2. Compare and contrast the short story “Marigolds” to a previously-analyzed nonfiction piece
3. Compose a compare/contrast paragraph using “perfect paragraph” format
Monday, 9/23:
1. Complete a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting two poems
2. Share as a class

Tuesday, 9/24:
1. In critical analysis group, choose ONE of the pieces you analyzed to
compare/contrast with “Marigolds.”
2. Complete analysis chart for “Marigolds.”

Wednesday, 9/25:
1. Complete Venn Diagram for selected piece and “Marigolds.”
HW: None
Thursday, 9/26:
1. Distribute paragraph instructions
2. Use Venn Diagram and begin rough draft-WRITE
HW: None
Friday, 9/27:
1. Edit/revise rough draft
2. Type final copy
HW: Finish typed paragraph-due Monday.
