Films in 2004. It was produced by Fotyissimo OVERVIEW The subject of the documentary is diet, fast food, health, relationships and psychology. Presented by filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, Super Size Me looks at the harmful effects of eating fast food in America. Morgan put himself to a test by eating McDonlads 3 meals a day for 30 days. At the same time, he travels around the U.S.A. interviewing doctors, dieticians and food experts on the bad effects of fast food. The film tells how Morgan’s health gets worse day after day until he almost dies by having McDonalds only meals after one month. AFTERTHOUGHTS I enjoyed watching this documentary very much. I learned from the film that fast food, especially McDonalds are bad to our health. I was alarmed by the facts mentioned in the film that 60% of Americans are overweight, one in four Americans are obese, one in twenty Americans have diabetes. It is a very serious health problem. But the big fast food companies in America ,like McDonalds, KFC, Burger King , Teco Bill and Wendy’s do not care about the health of people and lured children to their shops. Their main goal is just making more money. The film shows us that we cannot deny the links between fast food and death. If people do not change to a healthy diet, they will have many illnesses and die young. So, next time, before I go to McDonalds or KFC I will think twice! What about you?
