Prices are acceptable, 30 minutes out of Dijon. Developing vineyards in the northern Auxois area. Good TGV connections. Autun Cathedral area is expensive, otherwise good bargains to be found The premier cru’s wine area commands premium prices. Côte Chalonnais is expensive. A sure investment area. Certain areas are 1 hour away from the cities: Dijon/Auxerre. A little moisture in the forests of the Morvan. The areas around Dijon can be more expensive. The higher areas (hill tops) can be colder in winter. It is an hour to the motorway and 30 min. to the TGV station. Beaune is expensive, but entertaining.
