2009-10 UNIVERSITY STUDIES TRANSFER GUIDE
Clackamas Community College & Southern Oregon University
A seamless transfer to Southern Oregon University can be achieved by matching courses you have completed at
your community college with the requirements of SOU's University Studies (general education) program. Use this
guide to choose courses that satisfy SOU's Lower Division General Education requirements. You can satisfy SOU
Lower Division General Education requirements by completing an Associate of Arts-Oregon Transfer Degree
(AAOT), or Oregon Transfer Module (OTM), but these options are not required and may take longer. Students with
an Associate of Arts or Science (AA or AS) may need to complete additional coursework at SOU to satisfy all
Lower Division General Education requirements.
