Spanish 2 Week 4 Vocabulary: Qualities, Activities, Describe How You Feel Grammar: tener, ser, gustar, ir, (focus on “yo forms”) lunes: br: ¿Qué tipo de música te gusta? add estar to verb chart handout: copies of text 12-13 Act. 9&11 PP: activities/gustar students watch and write the appropriate activity/ answer questions Tarea: Qué te gusta hacer los fines de semana Write 3 sentences Use activities/gustar/places martes: br: ¿Eres trabajador/a o perezoso/a? add ir to verb chart text page 14 listen to audio, a responder activity PP: places: students write the place they see/one activity that can be done there (ie. almorzar & el café) each slide has a pronoun and they must conjugate correctly (ie. yo/almorzar/el café) ball game: practice with estar students say one feeling using estar (ie. yo estoy alegre) Tarea: Write 3 sentences using the following verbs: estoy, tengo, voy miercoles: ½ day no br Handout premade slips of paper with a place written on it- students write one activity that is done there on the other side- I callout activities and students raise their slip if the activity can be done at their place. Students are then grouped together (by me) with a person with either a place that matches their activity or vice versa. In this pairs, students then answer text page 16 act. 12 Do one on the board ball game: I give students a place and they give one activity that is done there Tarea: Text page 16 Act. 13 jueves: br: Write one sentence about what you do on the weekends. text p. 17 act. 15 partners Ask follow up questions Activity: divide the class into 3 or 4 teams. In a hat have slips of paper with short sentences relating to feelings i.e yo estoy cansado, ella es enferma- in turn, students are timed to act out the sentence they pull for their team. Students cannot use vocab sheet. Go over estar before starting.
