1A Mini-presentación
Nombre _______________________________ Periodo___
El grupo fantástico
Scenario: You see a shy, new student sitting alone in the cafeteria.
Being the nice and friendly person you are, you decide to sit with the
new student and introduce yourself. (This makes the new student very
happy, by the way.)
Task:
1. Get a Spanish/English dictionary from the book shelf. Then,
individually, write a monologue in Spanish where you:
a. Introduce yourself to the new student
b. Tell the student about your likes and dislikes using a lot (at
least 5 verbs and 3 negative or more negative words) of the
vocabulary from chapter 1A. Please use the dictionary to
include verbs that are not in the book if you think of any.
c. End the conversation by asking the new student what
he/she likes to do.
2. After you finish writing your monologue, switch papers with a
member of your group and read the monologue. Look for spelling
and accent mark errors. Give any suggestions if you have them.
3. Proof read your monologue
4. Act out your monologues. One student should play the part of the
new student (who doesn’t need to have any lines unless you want
to ad lib them during the presentation)
