ENTRY SUBMISSION :
Each music video submission must be original, not shorter than 3 min nor longer than 5 min in length,
and must be submitted at the deadline set—in DVD disc.
When submitting online at salikami.mindanaopeaceweavers.org, upload the music video first on
YouTube and enter the video’s URL (address) in the online Entry Form.

Rules of Participation
Who can join Sali Kami/Apil Mi music video contest?
Amateur individuals from the age of 13 and above can participate in this contest. For those entrants below 16
years old, submit a PARENTAL or GUARDIAN CONSENT (form downloadable in the website or ask for a print
out from the Area Secretariat). Entrants should be fully able and competent to abide by and comply with the
contest rules.
When is the deadline of submission of entry?
Call for Entries has just started and deadline for submission of music video entries is on OCTOBER 10, 2012.
We will give advisory if there’ll be changes in the schedule.
How can you participate in this peace music video contest?
Accomplish the ENTRY PACKET by filling up the Entry Form and the other support documents and submit it to
us on this email : salikami@mindanaopeaceweavers.org. You have to upload your music video on youtube and
provide the link in the application form via www.salikami.mindanaopeaceweavers.org.
What are the criteria for song submissions?
Entries must be consistent with the theme : “Citizens Participation in the Peace Process”. And length of the
submitted music videos should be around 3 to 5 minutes. Songs can be in English, Tagalog or in the vernacular
(for non-English lyrics, the entries should have English subtitles or translation indicated on the lyric sheet
form.
Entries must be original and should not have been put to commercial use- local and abroad. For group entries,
we will only communicate with the official representative of the group/band.
You can submit more than ONE entry.
Any video with inappropriate content will automatically be disqualified.
OFWs with proven Visayan descent can join the “Apil Mi” Visayas leg. Their entries will only be part of the
online voting entitled : “BISDAK KA!”, wherein the public can vote and choose one from each categories.
Winners of online contest will be announced in the Grand Finals, on November in Visayas and December in
Mindanao.
