Course Policies:
• Quizzes are given randomly and without announcement in class. These quizzes are
graded but not returned. No makeup quizzes are allowed. I will post score in
the ANGEL and announce that quiz grades have been posted via email or in class. If
you have questions about graded quizzes, you should bring them to my attention
within one week after they have been graded. I will not respond to any
questions or issues after this time.
• Late homework’s will not be accepted in any circumstance. Homework
assignments should be submitted before class starts in homework due date.
Homework assignments submitted after homework due date will be given a
zero. All homework assignments should be stapled. Homework will be graded based
on completeness and accuracy. You can discuss homework with your fellow students,
but you must write homework by your own.
• No late exams will be given for any reason (except for the officially excused
reasons, such as conflict of other exams, emergency, illness or Universityapproved activities). If you miss an exam because of an officially excused reason,
you should provide me with an explanation in writing one week before the scheduled
exam (For illness or emergency, you should provide document proving your illness or
emergency as soon as possible). Upon my approval a makeup exam will be scheduled.
Without notifi
in advance based on an officially excused reason you will receive
zero for the exam.
• Homework and midterm exam will be graded and returned in approximately one week.
Final exam will be graded within 48 hours and will not be returned. If you have
questions and issues about graded homeworks or graded midterm exam, you should
bring them to my attention within one week of them being handed back. I
will not receive any questions and issues about graded homeworks or graded
midterm exam one week after graded homeworks or graded midterm exam

will be made in class and/or sent via email. You are also responsible for these kinds of
announcements.
• Make your cell phone turn off in class. Be courteous to your fellow students: keep
talking and other noise to a minimum. If you need to leave class early, please sit near
the back of the room and leave as quietly as possible.
