Progress Report #1 (One per group)
This report must address the timeline, milestones, critical design components, project
breakdown by groups, different possible designs for systems and why (justify) your
design choice is best, understanding of practical design considerations and integration,
assessment of design problems, and documentation of preliminary results.
Progress Report #2 (One per group)
This report must address the timeline, milestones, critical design components,
understanding of practical design considerations and integration, assessment of design
problems, software coding and documentation, sustainability, testing plan and
documentation of preliminary results.
Final Written Report (One per group)
This report must address the timeline, milestones, critical design components,
understanding of practical design considerations and integration, assessment of design
problems, software coding and documentation, sustainability, testing plan and
documentation of results, future improvements, lessons learned, and contemporary issues
related to the implementation of the project.
Final Oral Report (Groups present own systems, Project Manager(s) present overview)
This report must address the timeline, milestones, critical design components,
understanding of practical design considerations and integration, assessment of design
problems, software coding and documentation, testing plan and documentation of results,
future improvements, lessons learned, and contemporary issues related to the
implementation of the project.
The written reports are formal reports and as such must be typed. Figures need to be
drawn using software. The reports need to be properly cited. The report should include:
1) title page – name of project, subsystems in your report, team members, date
2) table of contents
3) list of figures
4) list of tables
5) introduction
6) timeline
7) sections related to addressed components as described above
8) conclusions and references
