Interaction Designer - The Bio Agency
E-commerce application for Hibu (formerly Yell) spanning 23 countries. The project involves creating the UX for one
common e-commerce platform and user experience applied locally to each market. Requirements gathering, creative
brainstorming and delivery of UX artifacts is conducted remotely, as is much of the research and user testing for this
global product.

Researcher / UX Architect - Trinity Mirror
Trinity Mirror regional newspapers (35 titles) migrated from a bespoke Cold fusion CMS to the Escenic CMS widget
framework.
The project entailed re-design of all regional websites, the creation of one standard set of templates for and a platform
migration. It required a high level of Product Management – requirements gathering, workshops, market research,
analysis and user research. This spanned Commercial (advertising, commercial partners and classifieds), Marketing
(consumer marketing and promotional activity), Editorial, Technical and UX. Deliverables were end to end product
architecture, the creation of a common content object library and a common patterns library.

Interaction Designer - BBC Digital Media Initiative
Software application development project: The DMI project is transforming the way the BBC creates, uses and stores
the material it produces for its programs. DMI team has created a networked digital content production system that
enables easy management of broadcast content, effective sharing across locations, desk-top editing and archive
management tools, replacing disparate legacy systems. Contract entailed rapid Axure prototyping of interaction
designs across the project in an Agile environment

Lead IA on The Times in the launch of new site behind a paywall. Completed the IA for their Community, foreign
bureaus, politics vertical, search, RSS, and created a set of visualization tools for data (wizards, elastic lists, mapping

sports.
Also delivered full IA of Virgin Media Shorts, a prestigious short film competition attracting 10,000 entries.

Lead UXD for Nokia Ovi Maps on web. Aligned web app with mobile offering, lead UX alignment across web,
implemented user centered design process across web and delivered wireframes for next version of Ovi Maps.
Based in Berlin, this was largely a senior management role negotiating across services and divisions with the role
handing over to a Nokia internal hire once established.
