Technical Marketing Industry Solutions Specialist (HO03-08)
ESRI Canada Limited has an immediate need for a Technical Marketing Industry Solution Specialist, to
lead the development and delivery of technical marketing for the Utility and Public Works industries. The
position will be based out of the Corporate Head Office in Toronto and will report directly to the Manager of
Technical Marketing.
Industry Solutions Specialist responsibilities include:
 Working in conjunction with the industry managers, sales and consulting staff in the 13 regional
offices to help generate new business in the utility and public works industries through the
development and delivery of demonstrations and presentations of GIS based solutions
 Identify methods of integrating different products together to form solution-based demonstrations.
 Build, or supervise, the integration of the products as part of the development of demonstrations.
 Package demonstrations into marketable entities
 Deliver live demonstrations nationwide in front of audiences and via webcasts
 Support industry events with demonstrations and expert knowledge
 Educate the Sales Team on ESRI Canada’s Utility and Public Works GIS products capabilities,
including competitive strengths and weakness
Specific experience and skill requirements:
 University Degree and/or Community College Diploma in related field of study
 Minimum 5 years technical experience working within the GIS industry
 Expert with ESRI GIS solutions
 Experience in presenting all aspects of ESRI products to key decision makers at the executive level
and explain it in non-technical terms to business people
 Willingness to travel frequently
 Industry experience in Public Works and/or Utilities

Considered as assets for this position are the following:
 Bilingual (English/French)
 Experience with Cityworks, ArcFM, Network Engineer, Networks.
