課程宗旨
這門「中國哲學研究之西洋經典」課程,旨在重點介紹西方漢學對中國哲學之研
究,擴大學生的視野,做為自行深入閱讀的基礎。
大多數入圍的學者已有頗高的學術地位,此外,還有一個入圍條件是其學術研究
需將中國哲學呈現為有效的哲學,因此排除了隨文解義式的研究。(可能的遺珠之
憾:Philip J. Ivanhoe 與 Hoyt Cleveland Tillman。)
選材上,以能見到作者的中心論旨,觀摩其研究方法與風格,為主要考量。
