Statement
I am a visual Artist working with photographic media, Film and moving image, sound & music, printed matter and Installation.
I have worked on teaching workshops for organisations and have experience as a gallery assistant and invigilation, installing
exhibitions and monitoring events and talks. I also have experience on film sets as a camera assistant. I have worked on
private commissions as a freelance photographer as a stills photographer on film sets, and editorial and personal projects on
locations and in the studio . I am currently enrolled In the SLADE School of Art for a two year MFA and will be based in
London. I am a British Artist born in Devon based in London.

Relevant Experience

Sony World Photography organisation Festival Staff 2011. Assisting with the London Portrait and Documentary
projects, Including Picture Editing, and hanging the project exhibition.

Working for Sony during the Sony World Photography festival in Somerset house London, I was given a number of
rolls. I would invigilate both the main exhibition and the events happening during the festival as well as spending
time at reception conducting registrations and allocating passes for the event as well as answering general
queries. I would also be monitoring admittance to talks in the Courthold institute and passing out microphones
during question time. The most beneficial experience was working on the London documentary project with
Jocelyn bane-Hog, during the project I would work as a picture editor working one on one with participants in the
course with Lightroom. Then assisting the curation of the participant’s exhibition and installing it within the work
space.

A Photographer for the Sensory Integrations Network’s, website redevelopment and PR with proposed future

Working for the Sensory Integration Network in alongside ABG Design I was to deliver a series of photographs for
the development of a new website and promotional material. The 1 st shoot was made in two different outside
locations working with a group of children of all ages, I was to direct them as they played and capture them
naturally enjoying them self’s. Then later on that year I would attend the Sensory Integration AGM and provide
documentation of the event and members head shots and a group shot of all those present.

Film Stills photographer and second camera assistant for “The Nature of Angove” for Odd bodies.
Working on the set of the Nature of Angrove for the week long shoot I was primarily tasked with delivering
promotional character Shots of all the characters and document the general production of the shooting. I would
also take on the role of a second camera assistant at time helping with lighting. The resultant images were used
for web based promotion.

Photographer for Rachel Tilotsons feature in progress “SFTE”.
Working for Rachel Tilotson who was in the process of developing a feature film I was to provide character shots
on location. Within five shoots on separate occasions in different locations in Bristol working with up to three actors
at a time I would direct the actors at times and work under the direction of Rachel at others. Working under a
considerable pressure because of time restrictions, travel and weather conditions yet producing good results.

Editorial Photographer for “PIXIE LE KNOT” studio based.
Working with PIXIE LE KNOT I would produce a series of editorial portraits and an edited promotional HD video of
her contortion in the studio, for web based promotion.

Assisting photographer James Russell-Cant with a shoot in the initial stages of his divided to the ocean project.


Work experience with Bentley Television productions on location for “Ultimate Force” for GMTV 2007.
Practical skills

printing/processes (Digital/B+W and Colour Darkroom and film processing/Cyanotype/ Liquid Light) and experience
with maintenance of darkroom and equipment.






Self-publishing experience with industrial printers and Blurb, Adobe Indesign.
