Focus Awards FQP Level 3: Mastering Digital Photography Course Overview Our brand-new Digital Photography study pack is exactly what you need if you want to take good photographs that will be the envy of your friends and family. What's more, it's an ideal package to get you started on a new, lucrative and highly rewarding career. If you want to work for yourself, pick and choose your own hours, and enjoy interacting with people, Photography could be an exciting option for you. It's a massive sector, with a huge variety of specialist areas. From weddings and events to newspapers and magazines, advertising and artwork, just about everywhere you look photographs are there. Somebody has been paid for them! Why shouldn't it be you? As a “science", digital photography has developed at an incredible speed over the last 10 years or so, and it's no longer regarded as the poor relation to film photography (i.e. taking traditional photographs using a roll of film in a camera, rather than recording digital information). Better still, you don't need to get the film developed! Results are instant. Add to this the fact that good quality digital cameras are almost becoming “as cheap as chips", and there is absolutely no reason why anybody needs to take poor photographs today. This really opens up career opportunities for those of us who, having studied with us, realise they have a creative streak they weren't even aware off! Entry requirements A reasonable level of literacy is required, but there are no entry restrictions. You just need a keen interest in the subject, and will ideally have studied the subject or ancillary disciplines at a lower level if you want to progress quickly.
