What kinds of techniques are used to make comic effects? Who are cartoons for? What is the message of cartoons? A funny movie for children with funny characters. Sometimes they are ugly, interesting creatures. They`re funny, stupid, naive, humorous, lovely, etc. Funny situations. Naive characters that get in trouble. They speak in rhymes. They have various accidents but they don`t get hurt, they found themselves in several absurd situations, etc. Cartoons are mainly for children. But there are many cartoons for adults, too. We have to protect the environment. They teach us what to do or not in different situations. What is real friendship? They present everyday life, people`s problems. 3 Introducing new vocabulary Now there are some words you might not know. Let`s form pairs and try to match the words on flashcards with the right meaning, then we are going to check the answers. You can write the answers down in your note-book. You have 5 minutes to imagine an ending for the story. You work in pairs. You have to present the ending under the form of a dialogue. Yes, we are. Are you ready? They present the ending.
