Mona Lisa Salle des Etats Sfumato style La Salon Carre Hermaphrodite Amon Condom Mona Lisa

Painted by Leonardo Da Vinci in Florence (1503-1506). Mona Lisa is also known as

La Gioconda

, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. The painting is amongst one of the most popular painting from the Renaissance period. It is currently housed at Musee du Louvre in Paris. It is now considered to be one of the prototypes for Renaissance portrait. Leonardo uses the

technique to create a delicate atmosphere for Mona Lisa’s slight smile.

Salle des Etats

Translated into English, this phase means Room of the States. The room is located in the Museum of the Louvre.

Sfumato style

An Italian word which means to “tone down” or to “elaborate like smoke”. The term is used most often to describe Da Vinci’s work. These types of drawings have no definite border lines, but use the contrast of light and dark instead.

In the Mona Lisa, Leonardo uses shadow in the background and edges to draw attention to the face. Even though the Mona Lisa’s body and face are surrounded by shadow, no shadow edges ever became obvious.

La Salon Carre

: The Salon Carre is marked as Room IV in the Louvre. It contains Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting, the Mona Lisa.

A rare medical condition characterized by an individual who has both ovarian and testicular tissue. Both tissue could be separated or combined in an ovotestis. An equential hermaphrodite is an animal where the organism is born as one sex and as it grows it changes into the other sex (ex. Earth worm).

Amon condoms

: Amon is a local god from Thebes, Upper Egypt. His name meant “the hidden one”, because he was once some type of self created invisible natural spirit. He is usually connected with the force of life. Amon’s animal is a ram, and he wears a red crown with two long feathers on his head. I have been unable to find the brand “Amon condoms.” n_Ra&CP=EGY
