Comments from the public Ashley Nicholson, acting for the owners of Landhurst, talked about potential residential use of the remaining 2 acres of the site where 8,000 sq ft of sheds had been located. Kevin Hawes explained the outcome of the initial Neighbourhood Plan consultation that identified a potential need for smaller houses for starter homes or for those downsizing. Chris Sugg explained his understanding of the “lotting” of land at Perryhill Farmhouse and pointed out where the new access was being created on Beech Green Lane. 4. To approve previous minutes as attached These were duly approved. 5. Matters arising. None. 6. Correspondence. Letter from ESCC advising of appeal against refusal of landfill at Brockworth. It was agreed we should write reaffirming our original objections. Claire Risby to draft a letter for Emma to send. 7. Consideration of planning applications submitted Application No. WD/2014/0235/F Location: THE WHITE HORSE INN, HOLTYE, TN8 7ED Proposal: CONVERSION OF CLOSED DOWN PUBLIC HOUSE INTO ONE DWELLING WITH NO INCREASE IN SIZE OR ALTERATIONS TO THE EXISTING BUILDING. Charlotte Beare advised that she was a neighbour. The Parish Council regrets the loss of the only pub in Holtye, but has no objections on planning grounds. 8. Review new applications submitted. Application No. WD/2014/7006/AD Location: PERRYHILL FARMHOUSE, EDENBRIDGE ROAD, HARTFIELD TN7 4JP Proposal: NEW VEHICULAR ACCESS FROM BEECH GREEN LANE This is an agricultural determination so does not require consultation unless Wealden determine that a full planning consent is required. Although the house address is in Hartfield we suggest that this is referred to Withyham Parish Council as the new access will be in their parish. Application No. WD/2014/0553/F Location: ROBERTS FIELD FARM, JIB JACKS HILL, HARTFIELD Proposal: THREE STABLES, TACK ROOM AND SAND SCHOOL The Parish Council has no objection, subject to the usual conditions being applied to the sand school (e.g. private use only, no lighting, no sound system, use of appropriate materials, no mirrors,) 9.
