Letter of Introduction
Is reflective in nature, providing the reader with an understanding of who the student is and what the
reader may expect to see in the portfolio, including post high school plans.

Accurate and complete using the three designated sections: Learning, Leading, Living.
LEARNING
Evidence of Learning
Includes a minimum of 3 (maximum of 5) graded assignments in Core courses representing work
throughout 12th grade. Each assignment must have a completed Evidence of Learning Reflection. Each
piece is neat, of high quality, and properly displayed (final work, quality photos matted, etc.). Plus,
one research project and one personal essay from 11th or 12th grade.

email.) Minimum of three (3). References may not be relatives or peers.
Letter of Recommendations
May be from an employer, teacher, counselor or community member; not a family member or peer.
It should address student’s attributes, abilities, and future goals. Minimum of two (2).
High School and Beyond Plan
 Transcript – includes first semester of senior year
 Test Scores, if applicable - PSAT, SAT, ACT, ASVAB, Compass, other (Career Interest,
Personality, Learning Styles)
 Post High Plan - Apprenticeship, College, Employment, GAP Year, Military
 Application, Acceptance Letter, Other Supporting Documentation
