Τεχνικές προδιαγραφές εξοπλισμού Ιδρυματικού αποθετηρίου ΕΜΠ
Για την επέκταση του ιδρυματικού αποθετηρίου είναι απαραίτητη η προμήθεια του παρακάτω
εξοπλισμού. Δεδομένου ότι το λειτουργικό που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί θα είναι Red Hat enterprise
server 5.4 είναι απαραίτητο ο εξυπηρετητής να είναι certified από την red hat όπως φαίνεται στον
ιστότοπo της http://hardware.redhat.com . Επίσης, ο εξοπλισμός πρέπει να είναι συμβατός με
λειτουργικό Linux. Tέλος, είναι επιθυμητό τα στοιχεία του εξοπλισμού να προέρχονται από τον ίδιο
κατασκευαστή (π.χ. Dell, HP, IBM) ώστε να υπάρχει η μέγιστη δυνατή συμβατότητα και
διαλειτουργικότητα.
