This course will cover the basic principles of economics, an introduction to macroeconomics, economic growth, aggregate supply and aggregate demand, income and expenditure, fiscal policy, monetary policy, money and banking, labor markets, unemployment, inflation, deflation, modern macroeconomics and closed and open economy models. This course is designed to prepare students for the AP examination in Wednesday, May 11th. It is an afternoon exam. I. Maintain a notebook on current events & classroom notes iv. Complete vocabulary quizzes tests, final exam v. Complete projects, ass assigned. V. Make Up Work and Extra Credit: All work is due on the assigned date Late work will be accepted but students will lose 10% of the possible points …no matter the reason. If you are sick, traveling, etc. give your homework to a friend to turn in or submit it early. Extra Credit: 4 news reflections may be submitted at one time during a grading period. VI. The student agrees to meet the requirements of the class. Students are expected to prepare for the AP Examination in May 15th. If we have questions or need assistance we will contact the teacher in person, through email or by phone. Generally, students are expected to spend two hours each evening on an advanced placement course. Student’s grades can be accessed at your convenience through Parent Internet Viewer. Grade checks can be obtained through a form available in the main office.
