1. Welcome new committee members Mike
and Jen!!

3. Highland Hospital Update



Have 60 teams, 276 participants, and $18,000
raised
Made $750 at Super 8 garage sale, $1200 at
Comics Curing Cancer, and $1100 at the
Moose garage sale.
Mike and Jen are Colleen’s neighbors. He is
good with social media (Facebook, Twitter,
YouTube) and will be helping us with
publicity.
Will work with Anne to get contacts at local
radio and TV stations.
Can the MCC Marketing groups help us with
equipment?
Moose will cook hot dogs, hamburgers,
sausages, chicken sandwiches, salt potatoes,
corn on the cob. Will also have chips, soda, and
water. 20 -25% of their sales will go to us. They
need a tent, water, and electricity.
McGinny’s is cooking for the Highland picnic
and are willing to stay as long as we want. They
do hot dogs and hamburgers but also have
garbage plates and chicken French sandwiches.
Maybe they could stay at the south end and the
Moose Lodge could stay at the North end?
Mark’s in Scottsville has agreed to do Relay if
we can’t get Henrietta to commit. Pizza Hut
also agreed to be a backup.
Bruster’s needs a 220 line.
Starbucks will donate coffee but they need
someone to pick it up and serve it.
Sue mentioned following up with Maidstone
coffee also.
Sue is working with the team captain.
The face painter did Luminaria Bags to sell.
They will be at the North end of the track.
4. Upcoming Events:
 Bruster’s table event, Sunday June 9th,
10 – 5.
 LA Fitness table event, Friday May
31st.
5. Super 8 car wash/craft show update
 Saturday June 1st, 9 – 3

Anne is also working on getting a Zumba
instructor from LA Fitness for Relay.

Will use the wheel to have people spin for
what they will pay for their car wash.
Have 9 crafters signed up.
6. Logistics updates/sub-committee updates










7. 100th birthday party at Lovin’ Cup.
Wednesday May 22nd 7-9 PM
8. Other updated for the BIG day!!



9. Next Meeting – June 11 @ 6:30
NOTE: This is a Tuesday not a Monday.

Admar donated lights.
LuAnn has dancers, a band, and a DJ lined up
There are a few spots left for themed laps
Need to get people to sign up for Relay has
Talent.
Also has a scavenger hunt planned.
Ann Curti will go to Walgreens and try to get
them to donate some stuff.
LuAnn is working on getting some makeup
(from Tarte) for the survivors.
Ann’s boyfriend will work on the HOPE board
to get it ready.
Karen Glaser has the boy scouts lined up. We
need to make a list of what they are needed for
(Ex: put up campsites, set up Luminaria, put
signs up)
Aaryn needs someone to take money at the door
and set up Luminaria.
Anne put together a whole list of what else
needs to get done. We reviewed that but need to
solidify everything at the next (last) committee
meeting.
Need pictures for slideshow by June 15th.
Rayzel’s friend will put this together for us.
E-mail a list of any donations to Tom Mack.

Logistics night is on June 17th @ 6:30 (Good
Shepherd, Room 113)
