The Moose
The article The Moose is expository
text. The main idea is that moose are
large animals that are part of the deer
family with special features. Moose can
reach 7-1/2 feet tall. In addition, girl moose,
or cows, can reach 800 pounds while boy
moose, or bulls, can be 900-1,400 pounds.
They can be black or light brown. Also, in
winter they can turn gray to blend in with
the surroundings. Their antlers can be 5
feet long. They are good swimmers and
live in forests near water. As you can see,
these large animals have very interesting
features.
