DATCU Announces Promotions
DATCU announced the promotions of three of its employees recently. Craig Neu was promoted to the
Vice President of Lending, Stan Sydow was promoted to a Senior Loan Officer, and Kay Schroeder was
promoted to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Neu began at DATCU in 1999 as an Indirect Loan Officer. In 2004, he was promoted to Vice President of
Indirect Lending. He is a 1994 graduate of UNT, and a 2005 graduate of the Southwest CUNA
Management School. He is a member of Denton Young Professionals, the Knights of Columbus in
Lindsay, Texas, and a board member of the Greater Denton Sports Commission.
Sydow joined DATCU in 2000, also as an Indirect Loan Officer. He is a 1997 graduate of Texas A & M,
and earned his Masters degree in Finance from UNT in 2007. He is a member of Denton Young
Professional, Meals on Wheels, and currently coaches 1st and 2nd grade Upward Basketball in Justin.
Schroeder began as a teller in 1996, and joined the Human Resources department in 1999. She was
promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2007. She graduated from UNT in 1999, and earned her
Professional in Human Resources certification in 2005. She is currently the President of North Texas
SHRM, a board member of the UNT Career Advisory Board, and a current class member of Leadership
Denton.
