Wal-Mart Logistics - Mechanized Grocery Distribution Center 2004-2005 Bartlesville, Oklahoma Inventory Operations Manager As an Inventory Operations Manager (Quality Assurance) I was responsible for a team of inventory control associates that include exempt and non-exempt team members. We operated a 24-hour, 7 day a week facility that challenged the team in meeting all of the customers’ needs. I met productions goals while controlling operating costs. I worked with a mechanized system in the perishable food section and I was responsible for the accuracy of all inventories. (Div. of Colgate Palmolive) 1993 - 2004 Topeka, Kansas Demand Planning Analyst In this position, I was responsible for assisting in the management of demand forecasts through the facilitation of the S&OP process, which includes: Developing and maintaining Operations forecasts at the SKU, Customer Planning Groups and warehouse levels for 30, 60, and 90 day planning horizons. Creating and maintaining regressionbased forecast models utilizing SAP/APO Demand Planning software; while managing and adjusting statistical model exceptions, such as significant outliers, insufficient history, high-volume SKUS and Product Planning Groups, measuring forecast inaccuracies, and adjusting model parameters. I was, also, responsible for providing informational updates, ad-hoc, profit analysis, and end of month reports to various levels of management. Inventory Replenishment Specialist My responsibilities included all activities relative to the smooth operation of the Inventory Deployment process. I managed the replenishment activities, which included lead-time control, forecasting, stock transfers, new items, seasonal build-ups, promotions and introductions, and demand changes (i.e. volume shifts between DC’s.); as well as controlling product aging and obsolescence.
