MEET YOUR NEW PRESIDENT ---- KATHY CHINN
Kathy Chinn is the President of the MoFRW for the 2012-2013 term. She and her husband,
Gary, are the owners/operators of a commercial pork production farm consisting of pig
production with 2,500 sows (farrow to finish) utilizing contracts with local producers to finish
the pigs.
Kathy and Gary have two sons: Kevin, wife Chris, daughter Rachelle and son Conner; and Kyle,
daughter Kaytlyn and son Garrett.
Kathy previously served as a State Representative from the 8th District of Missouri. During that
time, she also served on the Missouri House Speaker AG Task Force, was on the Governor’s AG
Advisory Council, and on the Governor’s Appointment to Complete Count Committee. She is
currently active in numerous positions within the Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow, the
Missouri Pork Association, the National Pork Board, the Shelby County Farm Bureau, the
Missouri Farm Bureau, the Mark Train Water Quality Initiative, the Greenley Research Center
Advisory Committee, the FAPRI Model Farm Project and the Clarence Community
Advancement Corporation.

MoFRW Officers elected to serve for 2012 – 2013 are:

The following were appointed and ratified for 2012 – 2013: Membership secretary, Angela
Stiffler; Corresponding secretary, Elaine Duncan; and Parliamentarian, Pat Lehman.
COMMITTEE GOALS FOR 2012
Membership: 2012 members for 2012. If only 1 out of 4 of our current members brings in a
new member, we will reach this goal. We can do this!!
Achievement Awards: There were 38 Clubs receiving awards in 2011. The goal this year is for
45 of our 52 clubs to participate.
Century Club: The goal is to get at least 112 Century Club Members. Currently, we have 42
members and 4 Millennium Club members.

COMMITTEE FACTS……DID YOU KNOW?
The money you give as a Federation Friend, Century Club Member, or Millennium Club
Member helps fund the Missouri Federation of Republican Women’s “reach out and teach”
initiatives. The money received is the foundation upon which the MoFRW builds for the future.
It educates and informs women voters, provides women with increased opportunities in
governmental leadership roles, and helps educate Republican candidates. Club Members will
have the opportunity to meet many Republicans throughout our State, as well as teach MO
citizens how to become informed voters. ABC (About Basic Campaigning) Schools, Advocacy
Training, and Leadership roles for Women in Government all fall under this Club umbrella.

CONGRESSIONAL SPOTLIGHT ON ………….
AMERICANISM
FEATURING, the work and program of the AMERICANISM Chair, Barbara Grace, Bonhomme
Township Federated Republican Women’s Club, in the 2nd Congressional District, St. Louis, MO.
The President of the 2nd Congressional District is Hon. Sharon Barnes; the President of BTFRWC
is Hon. Peggy Adams.
Barbara, working with MO Dept. of Transportation, arranged for BTFRWC to participate in the
ADOPT–A –HIGHWAY program by cleaning trash from a designated section of the highway and
having a sign placed at that location. Barbara arranged for the club to meet the requirements
to qualify for the sign, the only Federation club to do so! Her club has coordinated clean-up
days scheduled through the year in addition to a MoDot presentation for their April, 20
meeting. For those members who cannot “clean the highway”, Barbara has created a program
extending this service to include CARING FOR AMERICA projects, such as collecting items for
the USO, donating school supplies, canned foods, and toys for Christmas. Barbara has stated
that “each of us has an additional responsibility to help take care of our beautiful country and
this is just another productive, fun way to do so!”
MOGOP LINCOLN DAYS
The Missouri GOP thanks you for a successful Lincoln Days! With more than 1,100 Missouri
Republicans in attendance, our 2012 Lincoln Days celebration was, by far, the largest in Kansas
City history! Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, and Kansas
Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins shared their vision of the Republican Party’s future with our
guests. We also heard from Auditor Tom Schweich, Lt. Governor Peter Kinder and Ed Martin,
candidate for Attorney General, among others. In addition, our three (3) candidates for US
Senate each made a strong case against Claire McCaskill and hundreds of attendees lined up
for our grassroots and caucus training sessions. The MOGOP would like to thank Eric Zahnd of
the Missouri Association of Republican and all our volunteers and attendees who truly made
this a memorable event!

that is pictured. Make a difference in this important 2012 election year! Get involved!

Heavenly Father, we stand on your Word that says that You will never leave us nor forsake us,
and we know that You are a God of Your word. Thank You for protecting our military, and
families. Continue to lead and guide us in the direction you would have us go. Thank you Lord
