Sub: Purchase of Nine Laptops(08 Lightweight laptop at Annexure ‘A’, 01 High End Laptop
at Annexure ‘B’.
Sir/Madam,
I am directed to request you to kindly quote your minimum rates for supply and installation of the items as
per the detailed specifications at Annexure ‘A’ and ‘B’ and terms and conditions as mentioned below:Terms and Conditions:1.

Tenders should be submitted as per two bid i.e the Techno Commercial Unpriced Bid with terms &
conditions and Price Bid should be in two separate envelopes. These two envelopes should be clearly
marked as Techno Commercial Unpriced Bid and Price Bid and should be kept in one-envelope super
scribing the tender number, subject and the due date of opening the bid. These envlelopes should be
sealed and should be dropped in the tender box and the entry should be made in the tender register.
The last date of submission of Tender is upto 2:00 P.M on 7 th July 2006. The tenders will be
opened on 2:30 P.M on the same day before representatives of the firms who wish to remain present.
Late/delayed tenders will not be considered at all.
Delivery: FOR CSIR Headquarters, Anusandhan Bhawan, 2 Rafi Marg, New Delhi-110001.
Earnest Money Deposit of Rs. 48,000/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Joint
Secretary(Admn.), CSIR valid for a period of six months should be enclosed along with the Techno
Commercial Unpriced Bid. Any bid submitted without the EMD shall be summarily rejected.
Warranty: Comprehensive Warranty for 03 years.
The validity of the offer should be minimum 90 days from the date of offer.
Payment: 100% after satisfactory, supply and installation and acceptance of articles, subject to the
submission of unconditional Performance Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank of 10% of the order
value valid till 02 months beyond the warranty period.
Payment will be made on receipt and acceptance of articles in good condition through Electronic
Clearing System(ECS)/Electronic Fund Transfer for which purpose the Electronic Clearing Service
details form filled in and signed should accompany the pre-receipted bill for arranging prompt
payment. This is required to be scrupulously followed as per the instructions issued by the Central
Vigilance Commission, Government of India.
