GROUPS :
The students should be divided in groups of no less than 2 students. Each group solves all 5 problems. Each group presents their
solution to the other group (at the times indicated in the table above), and delivers a written solution to the instructor. As indicated
there will be approximately 2 weeks for every problem to be solved. Every problem must be solved with the use of spreadsheets.
The rooms 310 and 311 are reserved for Erasmus students taking this course. The rooms are available every Thursday from 10:1512:00. The instructor is available at that time, and can be contacted for assistance.
Room 288 will be available for presentations and instructions, with a PC and a video projector.
EXAMINATION :
The exam will be Thursday the 11th of December. Computers will be available as a tool for solving the problems. The exam is generally based on handwriting, with the possibility of adding computer printouts.
COMPUTER NETWORK:
There are files available on the computer network at the location Kursinfo\bo-kurs\bo531. Problems and solutions, training examples, and also PowerPoint presentations for the book by Ragsdale, are available.
