SHORT STAY VISA APPLICATION FOR STUDIES

The file must count 2 sets of documents. 1 set of originals (which will be given back to you), 1 set
of photocopies.
Document or photocopy missing = incomplete file = high risk of visa refusal;
File fees (non-refundable) : exchange value of 60 euros ( S$130 in cash)
LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO PRESENT IN
2 SEPARATE SETS (original and copies), FILED IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER:
1.
This “list of documents” sheets on which you will have ticked each document attached
2.
1 short stay Schengen visa form fully filled and signed
3.
1 identity photo. The photo must be recent (2,5cm x 3,5cm), clearly showing the face, the
forehead hairline and ears on a white background.

ORIGINAL + 1 PHOTOCOPY : Valid passport + photocopy of pages containing your personal
data
5.
ORIGINAL + 1 PHOTOCOPY : Singaporean green card or PR card with copy of re-entry
permit stamp in passport
6.
ORIGINAL + 1 PHOTOCOPY : WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF THE EXAMINATION
7.
ORIGINAL + 1 PHOTOCOPY : Proof of accommodation
During the period before the announcement of the exam results. (An Attestation d’Accueil
document issued by the City Hall in France if you are hosted by friends or family – OR hotel
reservations for the entire length of your stay)
8.
ORIGINAL + 1 PHOTOCOPY :Financial guarantees appreciated on a yearly basis in order to
cover a year stay in France.
letter from your bank stating that you have sufficient means of support to live a year in France
(mentioning figures), OR
Supporting documents showing regular income during the whole length of your stay OR
if your financial means are insufficient, you may also provide a commitment letter from your
sponsor stating that he/she will be responsible for all your expenses, a proof of his/her financial
means and a copy of their passport.
9.
ORIGINAL + 1 PHOTOCOPY Medical insurance
Your name and dates of coverage should be stated on the policy.
The insurance should cover the following : medical expenses, hospitalization and repatriation
costs incurred for at least S$60,000 during your stay in Europe
