The unit shall be made complete with FRP or
equivalent sheets of suitable thickness to
sustain load of gravel / coke, and shall be
supported by MS angle, be covered with FRP
louver as wind shield. The perforations shall
be machine-finished of size not less than
20mm. All 4 trays shall be filled with gravel of
filter quality / coke or combination into a depth
of 100mm. The job includes supply, fitting,
fixing of all ancillary fixtures to make the
facility functional.

The lateral and main pipe shall be CIDF as
per relevant BIS, flanged, and the nozzles
shall be fitted in with pipe protruding from
laterals. there will be no nozzles in the main
pipe. The entire facility shall be properly
aligned and set in position at an elevation of
8m or so on the roof of chemical house. The
outlet shall be set in position to direct the
aerated water to the tray aerator.
