Welcome to the Department of Financial Services
Welcome to the Citadel Financial Services Division home page. Financial Services consists of
the Office of the Treasurer and the Accounting Department. The Office of the Treasurer is
responsible for student billing and the collection of all funds due to The Citadel. The Accounting
Department is responsible for all financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, grants
accounting, and asset management which includes cash, investments, capital assets, and

Mission Statement
The mission of the Financial Services Department is to manage the financial activities of the
college relating to accounting, disbursements, construction project accounting, payroll,
investments, grants, fixed assets, and cash flow management.
The office seeks to improve these functions within the college and keep the college abreast and
in compliance with new accounting principles and practices. The office will be a service provider
to departments and individuals on campus, answering questions and assisting individuals with
their interactions with the financial system.
