ALBERTA SEND THEM TO SANGAM CHALLENGE Here is your chance to support the World Centre at Sangam. At Sangam, friendship bracelets are sold to help support the World Centre. They rely on donations from around the world to help support this project. Challenge: 1. Make five friendship bracelets each to send to Sangam for Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers. For Sparks, make one friendship bracelet and Brownies make two friendship bracelets. a. Make at least 2 different types for Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers (listed below are some websites that have different types of friendship bracelets) b. Try making one red and green to support the WAGGGS Stop the Violence Campaign – turn a whisper into a shout. c. Send a little greeting of warm wishes to Sangam – on a piece of paper 2 inches by 1 inch, write a little greeting from Canada to send on to Sangam. 2. Make a friendship bracelet to give to a friend to invite her to come try out Girl Guides a. You can make it in the colour of your branch, add beads as desired b. Put the friendship bracelet inside of an invitation with the business card about Guiding 3. As a bridging activity, make a friendship bracelet with a different branch and make in the two colours of the branches to shows the connections within Guiding How to send your bracelets to Sangam Please contact your Area International Adviser to find out where to drop off the bracelets to be sent to Sangam There is no deadline on this challenge, but the more you do, the more support you are giving to Sangam.
