Course, including aims
If you’ve admired the beautiful sparkly beaded Shamballa bracelets in the
shops then why not come and learn to make them yourself. You will learn
simple macramé knotting skills to create a pretty bracelet that looks
great throughout the year. We will use a variety of cords and beads to
create your own colour theme. The same techniques can be used to
make surf-style beaded & friendship bracelets.
Teaching and learning methods used
- Fun relaxed atmosphere
- Group demonstrations & one to one guidance
- Slide shows & hand outs for inspiration & technical advice.
How progress and success will be recorded
Continuous informal assessment to make sure every learner makes at
least one bracelet and knows how to continue to make them at home.
Additional Course Cost (e.g. visits, materials, books, equipment)
£5.00 will cover the cost of one bracelet. You are welcome to source your
own beads and they start from 65p each. There will be beads & threads
