APPLYING FOR A IRISH TOURIST VISA
Do you need to obtain a visa?
YES, if you are a citizen of one the following countries – Kuwait and Taiwan
No, if you are a citizen of one the following countries – Canada, Mexico, Singapore, South
Korea and USA
Required documents
1. Original passport (valid through September 2009 with at least one blank visa page)
2. Fully completed and signed printed out visa application and Appendix A (forms
attached)

3. Your actual U.S. resident card (green card) or student visa (F-1 or J-1, etc.) and
including a copy of your I-20 and I-94
4. Two identical actual passport size photo (2”x2”) No photo-copied and computer
printed out photo.
5. Detail of your bank statements covering a 6 months period (Aug 08-Jan 09)

1. Before fill out the online application, please read the document “Information to Assist
you in Completing your Online Visa Application” (attached).
2. Go to https://www.visas.inis.gov.ie/avats/RetrieveApplication.aspx for visa application

name and address of the hotel which is Ballbrisdge Landsdowne Rd, Ballsbridge

5. Please keep in mind that you are applying for a “Tourist visa” NOT a student visa.
6. After fill out the application, print it out and sign.
7. Submit the completed visa application form along with the required documents to
GPP office at BRI 310.

 Item 4: Mark “I intend to finance the trip myself…..”
 Item 6: Mark “B” (Original letter from school will be attached with your application
once you submit to GPP office.)
Visa Fee
Personal check OR credit card (completed authorization form needed for credit card
payment) makes payable to “Crown International Travel”. No cash accepted
$110 for Single entry
$170 for multiple entry
