All students should perform the following activity. You may be asked to share what you
did with the rest of the class. The assigned GROUP WILL share with the rest of the class,
TYPE the following, and turn it in to the instructor, along with their concept map.
Reading Comprehension Assignment:
1. Read the assigned material.
2. As you read through the material, highlight words or phrases that you believe that you
need to better understand in order to comprehend the material. The assigned group will
type and turn it in (only assigned group).
3. Create an outline of the material on pp. 121-123. The assigned group will type and turn
it in (only assigned group).
4. Use the active reading and studying list on the last Reading Comprehension Activity to
help you read and comprehend the material. If you have other ideas of how to actively
study, let us know when your group reports your Reading Comprehension Activity to the
class. Type what you did to ACTIVELY read and learn the material. The assigned
group will turn it in.
5. Type your answers to CYU 5-8, 5-9, and 5-10.
6. Create a Concept Map using the following words or phrases:
