COURSE CONTENT
An on-line course means that the student must be extremely self-motivated and
independent in his or her learning. Since there is no class or classroom to attend,
each participant must pay particular attention to time management and minimize
procrastination. The way the instruction will be handled is as follows:
1. Read all posted announcements. Check for new announcements each time
you log into blackboard.
2. Blackboard Course Documents Folder (BB CD): Read Instructor notes for
module.
3. Read Assigned Chapter in Text Book.
4. BB CD: Take module Quiz.
5. BB Assignment Folder: Complete and submit assignment via link provided.
6. Check “MY Grades” in Blackboard for Quiz, Exam, and Assignment grades.
IMPORTANT:
This Blackboard Course is organized in Modules made up of lessons. It is
important that students start with reading the module lesson, which will
direct you to specific chapters and pages to read in the textbook. The
textbook chapter numbers do not match the BB module numbers. However,
the Module lesson titles do match the correct chapters in the textbook.

for completing coursework. Incompletes are rarely granted and only if the emergency or
other justifiable reason occurs after the date for dropping the class.
