Produce an informative leaflet for them about
the local area. Remember to think about what a
child your age would like to know. Make it eye
catching.
MONEY RIDDLES…
Collect a worksheet from school - solve riddles
and then make up some of your own!
NEW HOUSING
A building company have asked for permission
from the county council to build a new housing
estate on nearby fields. Write an argument
either for or against the development.

AREA COMPARISON
Choose another town or city within the UK.
Compare it to Cheltenham. Can you find out any
similarities and differences between the two
areas?

REGENCY CHELTENHAM
Choose a local landmark/scene and create a
picture of it. You decide which media to use. For
example; sketch, pastel, water colour etc.
EXPRESS YOURSELF
Use your imagination to create a picture. It can
be of whatever you like. Let your creative juices
flow! Use any media that you wish – you are the
artist!
CHANGING SCENE
Take photographs of a particular view at various
times of the day/days of the week. It could be
your garden, street, view from your window.
Make a changing scene picture by arranging and
sticking the photos. How has the same view
changed over time?
ICT can be used where appropriate in all subjects
